KUALA LUMPUR, June 20, 2025 – The Telegram channel “Edisi Siasat,” known for alleging misconduct by authorities, became inaccessible to users since this afternoon. A message stating, “Doesn’t exist, this channel cannot be displayed as it goes against Malaysian law,” with all content deleted is displayed. This islikely due to a block by authorities. However, by 8 pm, a new account, “Edisi Siasat 2.0,” emerged, reportedly created by the same administrator, gaining over 2,000 followers. The Najib Razak regime had also blocked several websites in Malaysia before it was swiftly thrown out of power in the 2018 elections.
