The topic of women not wearing “tudung,” a word commonly used for the hijab in Malaysia, is rather a frequent one that is debated. Some would make derogatory remarks towards them citing that they’re “not religious” enough.

A woman on X states that we should stop judging others for what they wear. Furthermore, the woman adds that if a man is engulfed in allegations, many would sympathise with these men. Additionally, some people would be told to withhold their judgement. 

Others state if a woman were to wear a dress/outfit that is slightly shorter than normal, people would criticize her outfit and would call her slurs.
