SHAH ALAM: PKR MP Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli who resigned as Economy Minister, stated he would not remain in Cabinet if it meant losing his ability to voice differing views. Speaking on his “Yang Berhenti Menteri” podcast, Rafizi said staying after losing the PKR deputy presidency to Nurul Izzah Anwar would make him a “lame duck” minister. He noted that Anwar’s backing of Nurul signaled lost confidence in his leadership, risking the Economy Ministry’s effectiveness. Rafizi refused to enable a toxic political culture, prioritizing his principles over position.
