KOTA KINABALU: Over 100 people joined the “Gempur Rasuah Sabah 2.0” rally in Kota Kinabalu, urging Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim to fulfill anti-corruption promises. Organized by Suara Mahasiswa UMS, the rally began at Suria Sabah mall, marching to Dataran Deasoka. Protesters demanded legal action against the Sabah Water Department, MACC independence, and opposed Musa Aman’s governorship.

Warisan Youth’s Melvin Lo discarded the Whistleblower’s Act, criticizing its failure to protect whistleblowers like Albert, facing charges on June 30. The rally, continuing until Sunday, saw no incidents, with police facilitating the crowd.
