Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi reaffirmed that the Johor State Election (PRN) will be held by April 2027, aligning with the end of his administration’s term. Speaking at the UMNO Tebrau Division meeting on Saturday, the Johor UMNO chairman emphasized serving the public over election dates. He announced RM10,000 allocations for each Polling District Centre (PDM) starting July to prepare for the polls. Onn urged party machinery to work consistently, not just during elections. In the 2022 PRN, UMNO and Barisan Nasional secured 40 of 56 state seats.
