My50 Pass Goes Digital via TNG eWallet Starting July 1

Starting July 1, the My50 travel pass can be renewed digitally via the Touch ‘n Go (TNG) eWallet app, Transport Minister Anthony Loke announced. The new system enables users to renew passes using NFC-enabled TNG cards and e-KYC identity verification, eliminating the need for MyKad or queuing.

Developed at RM2.75 million, this digitalisation aims to reduce congestion at Rapid KL counters. While manual renewal remains available, the digital method streamlines the process for over 24 million TNG users. By year-end, features to track usage and savings will be added. The move aligns with Malaysia’s 2040 urban mobility goals for smart transport.
