Muhammad Firdaus Abdullah, 50, who recently made headlines for a road rage incident involving a Perodua Axia, was charged again — this time for threatening media personnel at the Johor Bahru Court Complex.

He pleaded guilty to criminal intimidation under Section 506 of the Penal Code, after allegedly threatening a TV3 cameraman. The court imposed a RM3,000 fine or four months’ jail in default. Firdaus had just been fined RM13,000 a day earlier for reckless driving.
He pleaded for leniency, citing financial responsibilities, including supporting his wife and seven children. Prosecutors highlighted the seriousness of the threats made during media coverage.
