Bukit Aman CID Director Now Transferred to Border Control Agency

KUALA LUMPUR: Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department director Comm Datuk Seri Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain will be transferred to the Border Control and Protection Agency (AKPS) as director-general effective July 1, 2025, for a two-year term until June 30, 2027. Appointed CID director in August 2023, he will be succeeded by Johor police chief Comm Datuk M. Kumar. The transfer, circulating on social media since June 27, was confirmed by Comm Mohd Shuhaily, who declined further comment. Two other officers are also reassigned, but no replacement for Johor police chief was named.
