KOTA TINGGI: Two elderly men, aged 69 and 74, died, and nine others, including a seven-month-old baby, were injured in a five-vehicle accident at Kilometer 10, Jalan Desaru – Kota Tinggi near Felda Pasak on Saturday at 4:17 PM. The victims, in a Toyota Corolla, were trapped and pronounced dead at the scene. The crash involved a Perodua Axia, Hino lorry, Proton Saga, and Perodua Bezza. Firefighters extricated the deceased using special equipment. The injured received minor treatment on-site. The operation concluded at 5:47 PM after ensuring the area’s safety.
