TANGKAK, June 30 – Umno Deputy President Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan advised Sembrong MP Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein to submit an appeal letter to seek a review of his six-year suspension from Umno. Mohamad, known as Tok Mat, said the Umno Supreme Council holds authority to reduce or revoke the suspension, citing the precedent of former MP Tajuddin Abdul Rahman, whose suspension was lifted after an appeal. Johor Umno chief Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi plans to raise Hishammuddin’s reinstatement, backed by a Sembrong division motion, at Monday’s council meeting. The motion is among 191 to be reviewed.
