The President of Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (STAR), Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey Kitingan, has denied allegations by a news portal claiming he received RM1.78 million related to a mining scandal in Sabah. He considers the allegations baseless, politically motivated, and aimed at destabilizing the Sabah government. Jeffrey emphasized that he has never received funds related to mining and has fully cooperated with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) by providing a detailed statement. STAR also denied any involvement in mining activities or applications for related licenses.
