Mahathir Slams MACC Asset Freeze on Daim’s Family Calling it ABUSE

KUALA LUMPUR – UMNO’s Supreme Council (MKT) has agreed to consider appeals from members facing disciplinary action, in line with Clause 20.12 of the party constitution. Secretary-General Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki said this decision allows suspended members, including possibly Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein, to seek reinstatement. The move follows UMNO Sembrong’s renewed call for Hishammuddin’s six-year suspension to be lifted without conditions.
