Emotions ran high at the Magistrate’s Court in Cyberjaya when a man, believed to be a relative of a murder victim, attempted to confront one of the suspects. Wearing red, he shouted at the male suspect, accusing him of killing his younger sibling as the suspect was led out after a remand extension hearing. Police quickly intervened to calm the situation. The suspect’s lawyer, M. Manoharan, criticised police for publicly alleging his client had “bad intentions,” warning that such statements could prejudice the case. He stressed the investigation was ongoing and that his client is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
