MIC deputy president M Saravanan urged Nurul Izzah Anwar to detail her “behind the scenes” efforts for the Indian Malaysian community. He said while her silent approach may yield results, transparency is vital. “List the issues you’ve helped solve. The community needs clear, constructive plans,” the Tapah MP stated. MIC recently submitted an eight-point agenda under the 13th Malaysia Plan, including statutory Tamil school allocations, expanded university placements, TVET training for Indian youths, and protection for Hindu temples. Saravanan emphasised that the community deserves to evaluate government efforts, saying, “Let them see if silent efforts translate into real outcomes.”
