PETALING JAYA – Seven people, including the driver, were injured after an express bus struck a height restriction barrier in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, on Friday night. Nilai fire and rescue chief Azmi Hamid said the victims – four men and three women aged between 30 and 50 – were among 19 passengers on board the bus travelling from Kajang to Melaka. The department received a distress call at 10.30pm, prompting a nine-member rescue team to respond. All injured individuals were treated at Serdang Hospital’s green zone for non-critical injuries. Authorities are investigating the cause of the incident.
