Pandan MP Rafizi Ramli has criticised PKR’s emerging culture, saying it no longer reflects the party’s reform ideals. He highlighted how money politics and factionalism now dominate, citing his rival Nurul Izzah Anwar’s alleged alliance with such groups to secure her deputy presidency win despite her earlier concerns. Rafizi described these factions as prioritising positions over principles, undermining PKR’s struggle for change. He also questioned former MIC treasurer R. Ramanan’s rapid rise in PKR, contrasting it with long-serving members who waited years for similar opportunities. Rafizi said he may leave politics, declaring, “I don’t think I can change this culture.”
