Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Pandan MP Rafizi Ramli is expected to announce a new political direction at a special press conference at 9 am, today. According to party sources, Rafizi, who is also the former PKR deputy president, will make the announcement himself. The event will be held at the Subang parliamentary service centre and streamed live on his social media platforms. Other PKR MPs will also attend. While the purpose remains unclear, a cryptic Facebook post by former PKR information coordination secretary Iswardy Morni suggested that helping the rakyat does not necessarily require joining politics, hinting at alternative forms of public service and influence.
