Following a proposal from Bersatu’s Port Dickson division suggesting Hamzah Zainudin replace Muhyiddin Yassin as party president, the Negeri Sembilan state leadership has voiced full support for Muhyiddin’s continued leadership.
Muhyiddin Backed by Bersatu Negeri Sembilan
Negeri Sembilan Bersatu chief Anip Abu Baker emphasized that the support aligns with decisions made during the 2024 party general assembly, which reaffirmed Muhyiddin’s credibility and leadership.
The party’s youth wing (Armada) dismissed Port Dickson’s proposal as attention-seeking, while Bersatu Information Chief Tun Faisal stated most grassroots members still support Muhyiddin. Party HQ is now collecting motions from divisions nationwide to evaluate the overall direction ahead of GE16.
