Malaysian actress Lishalliny Kanaran has lodged a police report after alleging inappropriate conduct by a temple priest during a ritual in Kuala Lumpur on June 21. Lishalliny, 28, said she visited the temple alone to continue her spiritual journey when the priest, who had been guiding her, led her to an office for a blessing. She claimed he splashed holy water mixed with a strong-smelling liquid on her face before touching her inappropriately despite her objections. The actress confided in her mother two weeks later and filed a report. Temple officials reportedly said a similar complaint had been made previously.
