Perak Gerakan deputy chairperson Naran Singh has criticised DAP for its silence on the proposed Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) into alleged judicial interference. He questioned the absence of veteran leader Lim Kit Siang, noting Lim had recently emerged from retirement to comment on Perikatan Nasional chairperson Muhyiddin Yassin’s multiracial stance. Naran also targeted DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke, suggesting judicial independence is “more important than trains and buses.” He further rebuked DAP MPs RSN Rayer and M Kulasegaran, both lawyers, for their lack of response, accusing them and Minister Azalina Othman of being “asleep at the wheel.”
