PUTRAJAYA – Dr Mahathir, who recently celebrated his 100th birthday, was discharged from IJN and allowed to return home as at 4.45pm on July 13. The Former prime minister was admitted to the National Heart Institute (IJN) after becoming fatigued during his 100th birthday celebration on July 13. Initially smiling while cycling a tandem bike, Dr Mahathir left the event early with his wife before cutting the cake. His aide, Mr Sufi Yusoff, confirmed he was admitted to IJN around 10am to rest but was discharged at 4.45pm the same day. The public picnic at Perdana Leadership Foundation drew many Malaysians, including Ms Nickozie Mazlan, who prepared gifts for him. She hopes for another chance to present them in person.
