Kelantan police seized RM171.5 million worth of contraband in the first half of 2024—a nearly 78% increase from RM37.2 million in the same period last year. State police chief Datuk Mohd Yusoff Mamat attributed the success to the closure of border crossings in December and stronger collaboration between enforcement agencies.
