Adams, an insult, if accepted as US Ambassador to Malaysia

Around 50 protesters gathered outside the US Embassy in Kuala Lumpur today to oppose Nick Adams’ nomination as ambassador. The coalition, comprising youth wings of political parties, student groups, and civil society organisations, submitted a memorandum to an embassy officer detailing their objections. Police barricaded part of the road as demonstrators held speeches demanding a professional diplomat be appointed instead. DAP Youth vice chief Iskandar Fareez said Malaysia needs an envoy who understands its culture, not “any Tom, Dick, or Nick.” PKR Youth deputy chief Izuan Kasim confirmed the embassy promised to convey their concerns to Washington.

Adams out

Looks like Adams family of weirdos are more acceptable in Kuala Lumpur and the funny Nick Adams has his ambassador role in limbo.
