Man Found Dead in Locked Car in Penang

A 34-year-old man was found dead inside a locked car with the engine running in Butterworth, Penang, on July 16. The vehicle was parked behind shops in Taman Ara Mutiara. Authorities received an emergency call at 8:50 PM, and firefighters arrived by 9:03 PM.

They used special tools to unlock the car and found the man unconscious in the driver’s seat. The Health Ministry confirmed his death at the scene. Fire and Rescue officials completed the operation by 9:35 PM. The cause of death remains unknown, and police have taken over the investigation as of July 18.
