Three Chinese nationals, aged 38 to 54, were arrested for allegedly burgling a house in Taman Bukit Kubu Phase 2, Kuala Perlis. Kangar police chief ACP Yusharifuddin Mohd Yusop said a report was lodged at 11.38 pm after a man found his uncle’s home ransacked. CCTV footage showed the suspects entering the property and stealing RM4,000 worth of valuables, including jewellery and cash. Villagers detained the trio at 10.10 pm before police rearrested them. The suspects, who arrived in Malaysia less than a week ago seeking cooking jobs, have been remanded for six days. The case is under Section 457 of the Penal Code.
