After more than four years, the whereabouts of Jho Low, the main mastermind behind the 1MDB scandal, have been revealed.
Investigative journalists Bradley Hope and Tom Wright reported that Jho Low is living a luxurious life in the exclusive Green Hills area of Shanghai, China, using a fake Australian passport.
He is said to be helping companies under international sanctions to continue operating.

Jho Low, wanted by Malaysian and international authorities, is linked to the embezzlement of USD 7.65 billion from 1MDB, with USD 2.5 billion allegedly in his personal accounts. Malaysian police have yet to comment on this latest revelation.
They said he was using a fake Australian passport under a Greek name, Constantinos Achilles Veis, according to a report by Variety.
