Former political secretary Dr Marzuki Mohamad refuted Rafizi Ramli’s claim that Perikatan Nasional (PN) did not offer any positions to Barisan Nasional (BN) during post-GE15 negotiations. Marzuki said PN indeed offered BN the Deputy Prime Minister post, Cabinet roles, and other positions, revealing there was even a letter to prove it. He criticised Rafizi for lying and insisted that negotiations were cordial, with Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin never belittling UMNO. Marzuki added he was involved in the discussions from start to finish and emphasised that BN had offered “en-bloc” support to Muhyiddin in return for these government posts.
