Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has firmly rejected calls for his resignation, declaring he will not step down as he has not stolen public funds. Speaking at the Teluk Kumbar Civil Complex groundbreaking ceremony, Anwar said leadership changes must follow legal parliamentary processes. He urged critics to table a motion of no confidence if they believe he has lost support, stating he would resign honourably if defeated. Emphasising trustworthiness and anti-corruption reforms, Anwar announced a RM5 million allocation for the South West district’s basic facilities and called on Malaysians to value peace while awaiting elections for leadership changes.
