Anwar Ibrahim needs to remain as Prime Minister until the end of the term to ensure a stable government in facing economic challenges, said Rafizi Ramli. The Former Economy Minister warned that ASEAN nations, including Malaysia, risk a two to three per cent drop in economic growth due to US President Donald Trump’s retaliatory tariffs. Speaking on the “Yang Berhenti Menteri” podcast, Rafizi, now a PKR backbencher, vowed to continue criticising government policies to ensure their quality. He urged PKR members to accept his criticisms positively, noting that Anwar himself tolerates differing opinions within the party.
