Pandan MP Rafizi Ramli highlighted striking similarities between PKR and PAS leaderships in handling criticism. He said PKR leaders become angry when challenged, while PAS collectively attacks critics questioning their shifting positions. Rafizi cited PKR secretary-general Fuziah Salleh’s memo equating judicial criticism with a loss of confidence in the prime minister. He added both parties deflect by questioning why he didn’t object while in government. However, unlike PAS, which stayed in Perikatan Nasional despite policy clashes, Rafizi resigned when his views were ignored. He criticised PAS for remaining ministers even when special lottery draws tripled, undermining their anti-gambling stance.
