PSM deputy chairperson S Arutchelvan urged the government to offer a RM1 million bounty for information on those responsible for Teoh Beng Hock’s death, instead of spending RM10 million to hunt fugitive financier Jho Low. He argued that resolving Teoh’s case would cost only a tenth of the proposed Jho Low reward and bring long-awaited justice to his family. Arutchelvan noted the MACC’s recent apology implied guilt, and the 2011 RCI had already identified three officers involved in Teoh’s interrogation. “Bringing Teoh’s killers to justice is easier because they’re here at home,” he said.
