KUALA LUMPUR – Over 40 youth groups have warned that the government’s response to the Teoh Beng Hock case will affect their votes in the next general election. Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall youth chief Wong Yan Ke said youths and students will judge Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, DAP, and Pakatan Harapan not just as politicians but as leaders. Wong criticised Anwar for condemning Israel’s airstrikes on Syria while neglecting domestic injustices like Beng Hock’s death. Teoh’s sister, Lee Lan, reminded Anwar of his promise to release the full investigation report, urging transparency and closure for the family.
