Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim today announced a one-off cash aid of RM100 for all Malaysians aged 18, under the Sumbangan Asas Rahmah (SARA) aid initiative. He said those who are comfortable and do not take the money, among the rich, the money will be then sent to the needy. He also said the TNB electric bill is now showing a drop in rates instead of an increase for 85% of the population. Fuel prices of RON95 will be reduced to RM1.99 sen per liter. This will have an impact on 18 million drivers and riders in Malaysia.
