A three-year-old boy in Hangzhou, China, miraculously survived after falling from the 18th floor of a building. According to Sin Chew Daily, surveillance footage showed the boy hitting a lower-floor window before landing face down in a bush. Broken tree branches at the site suggest they cushioned his fall. The boy’s father, Zhu, said his son fell from a window without security bars. He suffered a fractured arm, spinal strain, and internal injuries but escaped head trauma. Grateful for the tree’s role in saving his life, the family tied a red string around it as a sign of thanks.
