Facebook Now Deletes Viral Audio Clip on Sabah Coal Mining Licence Linked to Anwar's Ex-Officer

KUALA LUMPUR: Meta has removed a widely circulated audio clip allegedly recorded during an internal meeting over the controversial Sabah coal mining licence linked to Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s former aide, Farhash Wafa Salvador Rizal Mubarak. MCMC confirmed today that Facebook deleted the clip for violating its content policies after public complaints triggered monitoring and investigations. The commission urged caution in sharing unauthorised or provocative content, warning of possible legal action under the Communications and Multimedia Act. Farhash has denied the allegations, labelling them fake, sending a legal notice to MalaysiaNow, and filing a police report against the news portal.
