KUALA LUMPUR — Police have recorded statements from three individuals, including a security guard and housekeeper, in connection with a burglary at the Bukit Ledang home of former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s granddaughter. Acting Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Mohamed Usuf Jan Mohamad confirmed no arrests have been made yet, and investigations are ongoing. The incident, which occurred on Wednesday, saw RM1.8 million worth of jewellery stolen. The housekeeper discovered the break-in around 3pm, finding the rear gate forced open and a room ransacked. The authorities are working to identify those responsible for the high-profile theft.
