Perikatan Nasional chief Muhyiddin Yassin has called on Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim to step down, citing public sentiment expressed in the recent “Turun Anwar” rally. Hailing the protest as a peaceful success, he praised PN Youth and rally organisers for their role. Urimai chairperson P. Ramasamy echoed the sentiment, calling the turnout a “virtual ocean of crowd” and likening Anwar’s current experience to “tasting his own medicine” from his past reformasi days—only now, the medicine “turns sour.”
