Penang will continue to be developed as an investment and commercial hub, said Investment, Trade and Industry Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz.
Penang to Remain Focus of Investment Growth, Says Zafrul
He made the remark after receiving the Darjah Panglima Pangkuan Negeri (DPPN), which carries the title Datuk Seri, during Penang’s investiture ceremony celebrating the 84th birthday of Yang di-Pertua Negeri Tun Ramli Ngah Talib.
Zafrul expressed gratitude for the recognition and reaffirmed federal support for Penang’s economic progress. This is Ramli’s first investiture since assuming the Governor’s post. This year, 1,530 people will receive awards for their contributions to the state.
