Teoh Beng Hock’s sister, Lee Lan, has called on the government to appoint an international criminal investigation expert to reopen the probe into her brother’s 2009 death. She insists the investigation be independent, transparent, and invoke Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder. Citing past findings by Thai pathologist Dr Pornthip Rojanasunand, she stressed the need to consider evidence of possible pre-fall injuries. Lee Lan also recalled that renowned forensic scientist Dr Henry Lee declined to assist in 2009 without an official government invitation. She urged full cooperation from Malaysian authorities for any future international-led inquiry.
