Deputy National Unity Minister K Saraswathy has dismissed claims that Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s administration is neglecting the Indian community, calling them “completely untrue.” She highlighted key initiatives, including increased allocations to AIMST University, TAFE College, and MIED scholarships, as evidence of support for Indian education. The government also formed a Home Ministry task force to resolve statelessness, simplified birth registration, and expanded access to MyKad. Over 500 Indian youths were sent to China for TVET training, while RM30 million was allocated to the Malaysian Indian Skills Initiative. Saraswathy affirmed these efforts align with Anwar’s Madani agenda.
