Former Economy Minister Rafizi Ramli is among seven political figures seen as potential candidates to become Malaysia’s 11th Prime Minister if a leadership change occurs before the 16th General Election.

Other names include Deputy Prime Ministers Fadillah Yusof and Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, PAS leader Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man, Terengganu MB Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar, PN Chairman Muhyiddin Yassin, and Bersatu’s Hamzah Zainudin. 

PAS central figure Annuar Musa suggested that a united front among them could dominate Parliament. His remarks followed the recent “Turun Anwar” rally demanding Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s resignation over governance concerns. Annuar emphasized that “nothing is impossible in politics.”
