A 16-year-old boy, Muhammad Nur Iman Danial Mohd Roshidi, tragically died after falling into a coma from injuries sustained in a traffic accident in Guar Chempedak, Kedah. On July 28 at around 9:10 PM, he was struck by a Perodua Axia allegedly driven by a police officer who ran a red light.

The collision dragged both him and his motorcycle under the vehicle. He was rushed to Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital and remained in a coma for three days before passing away. The case is being investigated under Section 42(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for reckless driving causing death.
