Barisan Nasional (BN) aims to contest at least 25 state seats in the upcoming Sabah election, based on the state’s 25 parliamentary constituencies. UMNO Deputy President Datuk Seri Mohamad Hassan said each constituency should have at least one BN representative at the state level, calling this a non-negotiable condition in seat talks with Pakatan Harapan (PH). He emphasized that BN’s negotiation team has been instructed to uphold this principle. Mohamad made the remarks after officiating the UMNO Putatan Division meeting, reiterating that a clear and unified strategy is key to BN’s campaign in Sabah.
