TOKYO, Aug 4— Casio’s AI-powered pet robot, Moflin, has become a hit in Japan, boasting over 4 million possible personality traits that evolve based on how users interact with it. The fluffy robot recognises frequent users as its owner and adapts to their preferences through petting and cuddling. Targeted primarily at women, Moflin has sold over 7,000 units since its November launch, surpassing expectations. Popular among women in their 30s and 40s, many even take the robots on outings. Priced at ¥59,400 (RM1,710), Casio also offers add-on services such as a cleaning salon for the lifelike companion.
