Upside-Down Flag in Port Dickson Blamed on Special Needs Worker

An upside-down Jalur Gemilang at SJKC Chung Hua in Port Dickson was due to an error by a special needs worker with intellectual disabilities, said Lukut assemblyman Choo Ken Hwa. The school apologised, stating the flag was quickly removed once the mistake was noticed.

Despite the apology, criticism persists, with UMNO Youth Chief Dr Akmal Saleh demanding stern action. Police identified a 30-year-old local man and are investigating under four legal provisions. Authorities urge the public not to spread the issue online. This is the fifth such flag incident in recent months, including one involving the Ministry of Education itself.
