The Sims 4 has been the latest updated version in the life simulation franchise by electronic arts. There were several alleged rumors of a fifth version coming out within the next few years. However, it seems due to the numerous DLCs, additional content purchased for the game, the gaming company isn’t releasing another iteration of the game.
Electronic Arts: no plans for new sims game after 11 years
Social media users are blaming the gaming company for a lack of innovation rather than a loss for customers. X users say that the previous iterations are still being played by fans as each iteration has its own quirks.
Others add the game has been “buggy” from the start in 2014 and claim that a lot of money is needed in order to play it properly.
