PN chairperson Muhyiddin Yassin has strongly denied Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s claim that he supported providing petrol subsidies to foreigners. Calling the allegation false and defamatory, Muhyiddin insisted he has never made such a statement and challenged Anwar to prove otherwise. The claim arose during Prime Minister’s Question Time in Parliament, where Anwar referred to Pagoh MP’s alleged remarks. Muhyiddin responded via Facebook, demanding evidence and accusing Anwar of failing to verify his information. He stressed that subsidies should be reserved for Malaysians, dismissing Anwar’s comments as misleading and unsubstantiated.
