This is the apparent message from the MCA Sec Gen today as reported by a local malay daily. They will probably leave BN but not with the aim of joining forces with the PAS or another alliance. Hence, they are also rejecting PN-Bersatu?
Alone in the wilderness in an election in the future, the MCA will be crushed into pieces by the heavy weights. With PN, it has a chance of strategising, negotiating for marginal seats etc. Winning one or two more seats while in PN will give it more strength.
But alas, while it is abandoned by BN apparently, the small MCA party does not want to join PAS as this may damage its image further? Well…:).
