Former Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin has denied claims by Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim that he supported subsidised RON95 fuel for foreigners. Speaking in Parliament during the 13th Malaysia Plan (RMK13) debate, Muhyiddin demanded Anwar retract the allegation and apologise, calling it false and defamatory.

He also said he would refer Anwar to the Parliamentary Rights and Privileges Committee. Muhyiddin revealed he had received a letter from MCMC to give a statement regarding the issue, criticising the move as a misuse of power. He insisted the investigation should begin with Anwar, who allegedly made the accusation without verifying the source.
