US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is under fire after reposting a CNN report on Christian nationalist pastor Doug Wilson, which featured church leaders advocating repeal of women’s voting rights and promoting household voting. Hegseth captioned the video, “All of Christ for All of Life,” drawing over 12,000 likes but also sharp criticism. Progressive evangelical leader Doug Pagitt called the move “very disturbing.” Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell confirmed Hegseth belongs to a church affiliated with Wilson’s network and values his teachings. In May, Hegseth hosted Christian prayer services at the Pentagon, raising concerns over religious influence in government spaces.
